The Vision
The Scotland team is looking for an experienced structural engineer to support a service expansion, in a complementary fashion to the existing offer, to support new markets and clients.
The Role
- Create and lead a Structural Engineering capability for Meinhardt in Scotland.
- Win Structural Engineering work in Scotland (and other regions as applicable).
- Introduce new clients and markets to Meinhardt.
- Cross-sell other Meinhardt services and disciplines.
- Support the Scottish Regional Director in ensuring the success of Meinhardt’s business in Scotland and the strategic direction of the company in the UK.
- Support the wider business in the delivery of projects nationally and internationally.
The Candidate
- Chartered Engineer
- 12+ years’ experience
- Based in Scotland with a network of client and professional partner contacts
- Experience in directing projects and teams
- Ability to mentor and support junior staff
- Ability to win work in the private and public sector
- Commercially astute
- Ability and desire to innovate and tackle environmental challenges within project designs
The Opportunity
