This is a 45 mins fitness class, not a martial arts class. We're looking for a passionate, energetic, and experienced group fitness instructor with box-fit / kick-fit knowledge to join the Meiji team. This is an opportunity to launch a new fitness class at our Golders Green (NW11) club — a high-energy, full-body session that combines boxing/kickboxing technique with interval training, set to a pumping soundtrack in a supportive and motivated environment. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering sessions that challenge, inspire, and get results — while making every member feel welcome regardless of their fitness level. Our community is everything to us, and our instructors are the heartbeat of it.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing and delivering dynamic 45-minute Kickboxing HIIT classes incorporating punch bags, medicine balls, skipping, pad work, and full-body conditioning exercises.
  • Curating high-energy playlists and creating an electric atmosphere that motivates members throughout every session.
  • Adapting exercises and offering modifications to ensure every fitness level is catered for safely and effectively.
  • Coaching correct technique to minimise injury risk and maximise performance.
  • Building genuine relationships with members and contributing to the supportive, inclusive culture at Meiji.
  • Setting up and safely maintaining class equipment before and after sessions.
  • Collaborating with our team on class programming, timetable development, and member engagement.

When are the classes? Tuesday and Thursday morning from 6.15am-7am.
