What You’ll Do:
As a Digital Clerk, you’ll help drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by shopping their orders quickly and accurately, creating an easy pickup experience from start to finish.
You’ll:
- Provide remarkable service at the curbside pickup Meijer Pickup area through accurate order fulfillment and payment collection.
- Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly attitude (in person and on the phone) and respond to questions and needs.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers, team members across the store and leadership.
- Resolve customer concerns quickly by partnering with leadership when needed.
- Receive daily workflow through a dashboard and fulfill orders throughout the shift.
- Select items throughout the store, scan/verify products, and bag items appropriately using bagging standards.
- Store and stage orders correctly while following food safety guidelines.
- Keep the curbside area clean, neat, and ready for the next pickup.
- Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
In short: you’ll turn online orders into easy, reliable, “right-on-time” pickups.
What You Bring:
You don’t need to know everything on day one, we’ll train you. What matters most is your service mindset and attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience; prior retail experience preferred.
- Past cashier experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
- Process-driven with the ability to follow procedures in an efficient, consistent way.
- Past online ordering experience a plus.
- You have the ability to perform physical tasks, such as lifting, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods.

This job has a step pay plan that generally starts between the rates below with raises occurring after predetermined hours worked. The actual rate offered will meet or surpass the legal wage requirement for the job's location: $15.25 - $16.98.
