We are Meiger, a Manchester and Cheshire based Luxury Kitchen & Interior Company seeking a passionate, hardworking and experienced person for the role of Multi trade in the Manchester Area. We have two positions available and require candidates with experience in joinery, plumbing, plastering, roofing and general building experience.
Job Role:
- Installation of premium joinery works, including custom furniture, cabinetry, doors etc, within clients' properties
- Execution of joinery projects such as ceilings, stud walls, partitions, and more
- Installation of electrical works, roofing and other general building works
- Loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Working from architectural plans and adhering to project schedules
- Liaising with other tradespeople and onsite personnel for smooth project execution
As a suitable candidate, you must possess the following skills:
- 3+ years of hands-on experience. The more experience the better due to the level of finish we provide.
- High attention to detail and ability to complete works to a very high standard/finish
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative and think for yourself to resolve any onsite issues
- Ability to handle and manage heavy goods safely
- Strong customer service skills for effective communication with clients
- Polite, punctual, and reliable character
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Clean and presentable appearance
- Full UK driving license required
- Own tools advantageous
- Having a personal vehicle is advantageous
- Additional skills and trades will be highly advantageous
Both roles are available on a full-time basis, Monday to Friday at 40 hours per week with pay and hours to be discussed. Essentially, the more you can do, the more you can earn. Potential opportunities to work overtime and weekends also possible.
