This opportunity sits within the MEICA and Capital Maintenance division, where specialist teams deliver complete end-to-end solutions including installation, upgrades, maintenance and ongoing operational support across critical infrastructure projects.
About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Electrician to join our MEICA and Capital Maintenance team in Kent. Our Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation (MEICA) specialists provide complete end-to-end solutions across installation, maintenance, upgrades and ongoing operational support within critical infrastructure environments. This is a hands-on role where you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality electrical installation and maintenance work while ensuring compliance with industry, British, international and customer standards.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carrying out electrical installations, testing, inspections and maintenance activities
- Diagnosing faults and resolving issues efficiently using the appropriate tools and equipment
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, schematics and technical documentation
- Identifying and escalating any potential safety risks or hazards
- Organising and sourcing materials, components and equipment required for tasks
- Completing detailed service reports and maintenance records accurately
- Supporting planned preventative and reactive maintenance activities
- Responding quickly to breakdowns and implementing effective repairs wherever possible
- Working collaboratively within a safety-first team environment
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in electrical testing, installation and maintenance
- Time-served electrical apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in an Electrical discipline (or international equivalent)
- Commercial/Industrial LV Electrical experience
