MEICA Link is recruiting on behalf of our customer for an experienced Industrial Electrician to join a well-established engineering business delivering critical infrastructure projects across Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician looking to work on challenging and varied MEICA projects within the water and heavy industrial sectors, with genuine opportunities for long-term career development.
The Role
Working across sites throughout Scotland, predominantly within the Central Belt, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning and fault-finding of electrical systems on infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Installation of cable containment systems to industry standards
- Glanding and termination of cables in accordance with BS7671
- Installation of electrical equipment and associated systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and installation drawings
- Electrical testing, continuity checks and commissioning activities
- Fault finding and rectification of electrical issues
- Supporting project delivery teams to ensure safe and efficient completion of works
