Are you an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong MEICA background looking to take ownership of complex infrastructure projects and lead high-performing teams?
Our client is a growing engineering and infrastructure business delivering critical projects across the utilities sector.
They are looking for a commercially focused Contracts Manager to oversee project delivery, develop client relationships and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

The Role
As Contracts Manager, you'll be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from both an operational and commercial perspective.
Working closely with delivery teams, clients and senior stakeholders, you'll ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
You'll play a key role in maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for improvement and supporting the continued growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the successful delivery of multiple engineering and infrastructure contracts.
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with contractual requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.
- Manage commercial performance, project risks and opportunities.
- Oversee project programmes, resource planning and delivery schedules.
- Drive high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental compliance.
- Support and develop project teams through effective leadership and coaching.
- Work collaboratively with operational, commercial and technical teams.
- Contribute to strategic planning and business growth initiatives.
About You
To be successful in this position, you'll have
- Experience in a Contracts Manager, Senior Project Manager or similar leadership role.
- Strong MEICA project delivery experience (essential).
- Experience managing engineering, utilities, infrastructure or industrial projects.
- Excellent commercial and contractual management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation abilities.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
- Knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Relevant engineering or project management qualifications.
- Full UK driving licence.
Water industry experience is desirable but not essential. Candidates with a strong MEICA background gained in other sectors will be considered.
