Role Job title: Valet Parking Driver (VP) Location: Bristol Airport, Silver Zone Pay: Β£13.45 per hour to Β£16.63 (Awaiting increase) per hour dependent on shifts worked Status: Agency worker Hours of work: Part-time or full time, weekdays and/or weekends Mego is contracted by Bristol Airport to staff and run their Silver Zone block parking operation. We are now ramping up for the busy summer months and need to recruit 20 more VPs. The role involves safely and carefully driving passenger's vehicles from the drop-off area to a block parking area at the airport and then driving them back to a pick-up area before passengers return. It is a varied and interesting outdoor role involving quite a lot of walking in all weathers. These are long term assignments; some of our VPs have been driving for us for over 10 years. Shifts are typically 8 hours long and are available 7 days per week starting between 06:00 and 13.30. To work as a VP you'll need to: Have held a full UK driving licence for at least 12 months, during which time you'll have done plenty of driving Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence Have not been disqualified from driving in the last 5 years Be age 18 or over Provide an employment reference from the last 12 months or evidence of your attendance at a place of learning. Evidence your right to work in the UKNo formal qualifications are required for this role but you'll need to be comfortable driving a wide range of vehicles in all conditions from camper vans to EVs, parking them in close proximity to other vehicles and be prepared to undergo a driving assessment. And you'll need to show us whilst under training that you have good judgement, are a skilled, careful and considerate driver, can follow detailed instructions and comply with our strict operational procedures and conduct requirements.
