Mego are working with a client in Plymouth who value attention to detail, discipline, and people who take quiet pride in doing things right the first time. They are looking to bring a Store Operative onto the team - someone who will carefully and accurately handle stores/materials across the warehouse and production areas, with a strong focus on quality and efficiency.
What your day might look like:
- Unloading deliveries and putting stock away
- Picking parts and preparing kits for production
- Issuing materials to the shop floor as needed
- Labelling, packing and preparing orders for shipment
- Processing stock movements using in-house systems
- Supporting stock replenishment
- Keeping the workspace clean, tidy and organised
- Occasionally operating a forklift (training can be provided)
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience in warehousing, stores, or materials handling (ideally within manufacturing)
- Feels confident following detailed written instructions and systems
- Can work accurately and stay focused without constant supervision
- Is flexible, adaptable, and willing to assist the team when needed
- Has good attention to detail and a methodical approach to their work
Itβs a bonus if you also have:
- Experience using SAP or WMS systems
- A current forklift licence (counterbalance or reach)
Hours: Monday to Friday - Alternate shift pattern working (Apply online only) and (Apply online only) rotating weekly
Salary: 28,618.20 per annum.
