Site Supervisor Location: Plymouth (on-site) Salary: £40,000 per annum Employment Type: Permanent Hours: Full Time - 40 hours per week _______________________________________________________________________________________________ About the Role Our client, a well-established engineering business in Plymouth, is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage and coordinate site activities. This role involves leading site operations to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, while adhering to Health & Safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers and subcontractors to maintain high-quality project delivery. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ The Role * Plan, supervise and coordinate site activities involving company personnel, subcontractors and suppliers. * Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently. * Ensure all personnel work in accordance with Health & Safety policies, risk assessments and method statements. * Liaise with Project Managers, clients and subcontractors, escalating issues where required. * Maintain project documentation, site equipment, vehicles, and working areas to company standards. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Essential Requirements * Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, Site Foreman or similar construction/engineering leadership role. * Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices. * Ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple priorities. * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ Benefits * Permanent, full-time position with a long-established and growing engineering business. * Competitive salary of £39,998 per annum. * Overtime paid at 1.5 times the standard hourly rate. * Opportunity to work on varied projects across a respected and diverse engineering group. _______________________________________________________________________________________________ About Our Client Our client operates within the engineering and fabrication sector, known for delivering high-quality services across the UK.
