Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer looking for a rewarding role in a world-class manufacturing environment? Our client, based in Plymouth, is seeking a multi-skilled engineer to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our production equipment. What You'll Do
- Perform planned preventative maintenance to keep equipment safe and reliable.
- Diagnose and repair machine breakdowns quickly and effectively.
- Install and maintain single-phase and three-phase electrical circuits.
- Support corrective actions and process improvements.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and cost efficiency.
- Adhere to all Health & Safety and environmental standards.
What We're Looking For
- Relevant engineering qualification or industry-related certification.
- Time-served Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment (mechanical bias preferred).
- Basic knowledge of PLC control systems.
- Ability to work shifts (Annualised Hours pattern), overtime, and call-outs.
- Understanding of 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
- Proficient in IT (Microsoft Office).
- Commitment to safe working practices and ability to pass medical/drug tests.
Desirable Skills
- Multi-skilled engineering experience.
- IEE Regulations qualification (18th edition).
Shift Pattern
Core hours: Monday-Friday, 7am-3pm (37.5 hrs/week). Additional shifts include back shifts, night shifts, and weekends (with time off in lieu). Optional standby with on-call payment.
