Welder / Fabricator Location: Buckfastleigh Salary: Welder - £13.00 per hour | Fabricator / Welder - £14.00 per hour Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm ________________________________________________________________________ About the Role We are recruiting for a Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established and highly regarded British manufacturer based in Buckfastleigh. With a heritage dating back over 50 years, our client are renowned for designing and manufacturing premium high-quality products, combining traditional craftsmanship with modern engineering techniques. Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components used in the production of market-leading products, while supporting quality, efficiency and production targets. Key Responsibilities Fabricate metal components and assemblies from technical drawings and specifications Carry out welding duties to a consistently high standard Use fabrication machinery, hand tools and workshop equipment safely and effectively Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment_______________________________________________________________________ About You Essential: Previous welding and/or fabrication experience Ability to read and interpret engineering or technical drawings Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality workmanship Ability to work effectively as part of a workshop team Desirable: Previous fabrication experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment MIG or TIG welding experience Experience working with steel and sheet metal products What's in it for You?
