My client is currently seeking a Technical Territory Sales Advisor living around the York area. This is a varied, field-based role combining account management, business development and clinically focused product support. You'll assume responsibility for an established territory and act as the principal point of contact for customers throughout the contract.

Work will be mainly in Schools and Homes, but clients may include NHS services, supported living organisations, and therapists. You'll build trusted relationships, understand each client's requirements and provide informed guidance on suitable products. The territory covers a substantial area across Yorkshire, the North East, Lancashire and Cumbria, including the BD, DH, DL, FY, HU, LA, NE, PR, SR, TS and YO postcode areas. Candidates should ideally live in or close to York.

Job Description:

  • A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly throughout the territory
  • The ability to take responsibility for a substantial geographical territory
  • Competence using standard IT systems and maintaining accurate customer records
  • Strong planning, diary-management and organisational skills
  • Proven technical or product-led sales experience
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial awareness and a clear focus on developing accounts
  • A consultative approach, with the ability to understand individual needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Confidence delivering product demonstrations, assessments, presentations or training
  • Experience working with therapists, healthcare professionals or other clinical stakeholders
  • Previous experience in field sales, territory management or account management
  • Manage your diary flexibly to accommodate customer, therapist and business requirements
  • Deliver product demonstrations, presentations, training sessions and 'lunch and learn' events
  • Provide appropriate guidance on product suitability based on individual requirements
  • Conduct clinically focused product assessments with children, families, therapists and other healthcare professionals
  • Act as the main point of contact for customers across the territory
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to grow accounts and establish new customer relationships
  • Take ownership of an established sales territory, maintaining a visible and professional company presence throughout the region
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing clients, ensuring continuity of service and account knowledge
