Site Supervisor
Location: Plymouth (on-site)

About the Role
Our client, a well-established engineering business in Plymouth, is seeking a Site Supervisor to manage and coordinate site activities. This role involves leading site operations to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, while adhering to Health & Safety standards. The successful candidate will work closely with Project Managers and subcontractors to maintain high-quality project delivery.
The Role
- Plan, supervise and coordinate site activities involving company personnel, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all personnel work in accordance with Health & Safety policies, risk assessments and method statements.
- Liaise with Project Managers, clients and subcontractors, escalating issues where required.
- Maintain project documentation, site equipment, vehicles, and working areas to company standards.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, Site Foreman or similar construction/engineering leadership role.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
- Ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

Essential Experience
- Previous experience in a Site Supervisor, Site Foreman or similar construction/engineering leadership role.
Essential Skills and Competencies
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
- Ability to lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
Desirable Qualifications and Skills
- Experience within fabrication, structural steelwork, engineering or industrial projects.
- Relevant site-based qualifications such as SSSTS, SMSTS or CSCS.
- Experience working on projects involving welding, refurbishment or industrial installations.
