This role involves working on varied shift patterns to ensure the reliability and safety of manufacturing assets. The position offers opportunities for training and continuous development within a safety-focused environment.
The Role
- Adhere to company rules, health and safety, and environmental standards.
- Perform preventative planned maintenance tasks to ensure asset safety and reliability.
- Conduct fault finding on all assets and repair machine breakdowns.
- Identify and support corrective actions on asset and process limitations.
- Work with and install single phase and three phase electrical circuits.
- Engage in training and continuous development opportunities as required.
- Continuously seek to improve the reliability and cost-effectiveness of all assets.
- Contribute to the company's objectives and values.
Required Expertise
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment.
- Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
- Experience with preventative maintenance systems and breakdown repair.
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to unplanned issues.
