We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals, and right now we are seeking a motivated and talented Trainee PdM Implementation Specialist to join our team in Wrexham. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering detailed site survey insights to the Sales and Commercial teams, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of all implementation and infrastructure requirements for Megger Industrial Reliability (MIR) deployments.

You will be responsible for installing smaller‑scale MIR systems, supporting the coordination of installation contractors, and assisting with project delivery across MIR deployment activities. You will also contribute to the development of implementation templates and the future commissioning of systems as part of ongoing platform evolution. Working closely with Engineering, Sales, Support and Commercial Planning teams, you will help ensure the successful deployment of MIR systems and their seamless integration with Megger’s SaaS platform. You will also support project rollouts, assist contractors, and contribute to the continued development of our industrial monitoring solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site visits to gather survey and deployment information to support implementation planning.
  • Assist with installation, testing and commissioning of MIR sensors and IIoT infrastructure under the direction of Lead Engineers.
  • Support Sales, Commercial and Implementation teams with field insights and technical input.
  • Help ensure seamless integration of MIR systems with Megger’s SaaS platform.
  • Provide on‑site support, including customer assistance and training during rollouts.
  • Assist with site surveys, documentation and reporting in line with safety standards.
  • Support installation partners and contractors where required.
  • Contribute to system configuration, testing and readiness for deployment sign‑off.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
  • Either completed (or nearing completion of) an electrical or mechanical apprenticeship, with approximately 1–2 years of commercial experience.
  • Background in an industrial environment such as manufacturing or factory settings.
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Office and familiarity with technical or internal systems.
  • Understanding of industrial equipment such as motors, pumps, fans and gearboxes (desirable).
  • Ability to quickly learn new technical systems and develop practical, hands‑on skills.
  • Strong communication and organisational ability, with a proactive, team‑focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK.
