We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Production Technician!
In this role, you will play a key part in the Production Assembly team, responsible for manufacturing high voltage and high current test equipment used across the UK and globally. You will be testing, fault-finding down to component level, repairing, and calibrating a variety of electronic products—ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. You’ll also contribute to improvement initiatives in our drive toward a lean manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Test and calibrate electronic field and bench type equipment for Dover products to the highest standards.
- Fault find and repair at printed circuit board level, including replacing surface mount components.
- Follow test specifications and safe systems of work, adhering to COSHH and risk assessments.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities and represent Manufacturing in New Product Development teams.
- Work collaboratively to support a high-performing, efficient production environment.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Qualification in an electronic discipline or equivalent, with relevant experience.
- Competent in component-level fault finding and repair.
- Ability to read and understand manuals, schematics, circuit diagrams, and engineering/mechanical drawings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, flexible, and able to manage time and priorities effectively.
