We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Portfolio Manager based at our Dover HQ.
In this role, you will manage Megger’s General Electrical Test (GET) product portfolio throughout its lifecycle, supporting new product introductions, driving business growth, and providing technical and commercial support to sales channels and distribution partners. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, analyse market trends, and identify opportunities for product improvements to ensure Megger’s GET products remain innovative, competitive, and aligned with customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the current product portfolio and support new product development initiatives.
- Provide technical product support, including demos, presentations, tenders, pricing, and discounts.
- Review sales performance, conduct gap analysis, and implement performance improvement plans.
- Engage with customers, distribution partners, and internal teams to identify opportunities for product enhancement.
- Develop business cases for minor product developments and support strategic planning for portfolio growth.
Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of electrical power systems, test and measurement principles, and asset condition assessment.
- Experience in Product Management, Technical Sales, or Technical Support within a corporate or B2B environment.
- Technical knowledge of electrical engineering systems and experience creating technical strategies, product roadmaps, and lifecycle processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and business analysis skills, including writing business cases and mapping customer journeys.
- Degree-level qualification in engineering, marketing, or a related discipline; full UK driver’s licence required.
- Positive, can‑do attitude with ability to prioritise and multi‑task effectively; willingness to travel (UK and international).
- Experience with Lean‑Agile development and Product Management software (Aha! Jera) or CRM/ERP (SAP) is advantageous.
