We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Graduate Software Developer to join our team in Wallingford, Oxfordshire.
In this role, you will contribute to the development of innovative software solutions that support electrical testing across cloud, web and mobile platforms. Working within an Agile team environment, you’ll help design, develop and maintain software products throughout the full product lifecycle, collaborating with engineers, product managers and support teams to deliver high-quality, customer-focused solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain software across cloud, web and mobile platforms.
- Write reliable, maintainable and high-quality code.
- Contribute to software architecture and framework development.
- Work within an Agile team environment to deliver software features and improvements.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, from concept through to release and maintenance.
- Help develop and improve automated testing methods and build/release processes.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Project Managers and Support teams.
- Gather and refine functional requirements and implement software solutions.
- Support troubleshooting and customer queries where appropriate.
- Contribute to continuous improvement across development processes and team practices.
- Degree in Software Development, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years’ experience in software development, ideally in a commercial environment.
- Experience with some of the following technologies: C# and/or C++, Microsoft .NET and Azure, MS SQL or similar databases, JavaScript, HTML and CSS frameworks, Mobile development (Android and/or iOS), Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) or wireless communications.
- Experience working within Agile development teams and source control environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication, organisation and teamwork skills.
- Passion for technology, continuous learning and software development best practices.
