We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Technical Support Engineer based at our Dover HQ.
In this role, you will deliver exceptional technical support across Megger’s diverse product range, including Low Voltage Instruments (LVI), General Electrical Test (GET) equipment, battery systems, and rotating machines. You will act as a key point of contact for both customers and internal teams, supporting pre- and post-sales activities, bridging global sales teams and the Dover site, and helping to drive business growth while maintaining outstanding service standards.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert technical support and guidance to customers and distributors via phone, email, and on-site visits.
- Represent Megger at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events with technical demonstrations.
- Create technical content to support pre- and post-sales activities, including competitor comparisons, application notes, and videos.
- Assist Product Managers during product development, alpha/beta phases, and NPIT launches, including regression testing.
- Maintain departmental demonstration stock, complete reports and workshop tasks, and update records in the CRM system.
- Solid understanding of electrical installations and testing procedures.
- Working towards vocational qualifications, HND in Electrical Engineering, with potential progression to degree level.
- HNC in Electrical Engineering plus 2 A-Levels (including one maths-based subject).
- Proficiency in MS Office, Megger analysis software, social media platforms, and internal IT systems.
- Full driving licence is required and willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.
