The Vacancy

We are always looking for exceptional individuals to join our multinational group of talented professionals and right now we are seeking to recruit a motivated and talented Group Financial Accountant.


In this role, you will support the preparation of accurate and timely group financial reporting and consolidation across our international operations. You will work closely with regional finance teams to ensure consistency and strong financial controls, while also supporting technical accounting, audit, acquisitions, systems improvements and finance transformation projects.


This is a UK-based remote role, with occasional onsite attendance required.


Key Responsibilities


  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual consolidated group financial statements.
  • Perform consolidation adjustments, including intercompany eliminations and foreign currency translations.
  • Support the preparation of management reporting and Board-level financial information.
  • Assist with statutory accounts, external and internal audit requirements, and compliance with IFRS and local reporting requirements.
  • Support technical accounting activities, including new accounting standards, acquisition accounting and M&A integration.
  • Contribute to finance transformation, automation, systems implementation and process improvement initiatives.
  • Build strong working relationships with finance teams across multiple geographies and act as a key contact for reporting and consolidation queries.


Experience, Skills & Qualifications


  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent), or finalist with relevant experience.
  • Experience within audit, financial reporting, group accounting or a similar role.
  • Strong technical accounting and financial reporting knowledge, with a good understanding of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of group consolidations, intercompany accounting and foreign currency accounting; experience within a multinational or multi-entity environment is desirable.
  • Good understanding of US GAAP reporting requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse and manipulate large datasets.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet strict reporting deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
