Lead the design of megarefill.com, Megaroam and Megaconnect, from first idea to shipped product.
Megarefill is a digital marketplace for gift cards, mobile top-ups and travel eSIMs. Since 2023 we have been building, from London, the simplest way to buy digital products online: customers in 190+ countries pay by card, Apple Pay or more than 20 cryptocurrencies and get their code, recharge or eSIM in seconds.
We also build our own mobile apps: Megaroam, a travel eSIM app for 200+ countries, and Megaconnect, which gives people a real UK +44 phone number on an eSIM.
About your team
You will be the senior designer in our Product team, working with product managers and developers on megarefill.com and our mobile apps, Megaroam and Megaconnect.
Our customers buy a gift card, a phone recharge or an eSIM in under a minute, often on their phone and often in a hurry. Making that feel simple, fast and trustworthy in 190+ countries is the heart of the job.
Your toolkit

- Figma and FigJam
- A shared design system for web and mobile

Research
- User interviews and usability testing
- Session recordings and funnels
- Support tickets and app reviews
- Design reviews with product and engineering
- Handoff and QA on real builds
- A/B tests on key flows
What you’ll do
- Own the end-to-end design of key flows: search, product pages, checkout, wallet and eSIM installation
- Turn research and data into clear user flows, wireframes and high-fidelity UI
- Build and maintain our design system across megarefill.com, Megaroam and Megaconnect
- Run usability tests and design A/B experiments that improve conversion
- Work closely with developers and review what ships to keep quality high
- Mentor others and raise the design bar across the company
What you’ll bring
- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX or product design for web and mobile
- A strong portfolio showing shipped products and the thinking behind them
- Expert Figma skills and experience building or running a design system
- Experience with user research, usability testing and working with data
- Clear communication and comfortable leading design decisions with stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience designing for e-commerce, fintech, payments or crypto
- Experience designing native iOS and Android apps
