Being a FLT Reach Truck Driver at EPCO Plastics, you perform all essential tasks in the warehouse and on the outdoor premises to ensure that picked orders are prepared accurately, completely, and on time for shipment. You also carry out inbound activities to ensure that incoming goods are unloaded, checked, and stored correctly.
Your key responsibilities
- Use warehouse equipment safely: Operating and maneuvering Reach Trucks (primary), as well as forklifts and electric pallet trucks when required.
- Process orders: Pick, pack, load, and unload products. You make sure every order is accurate, complete, and ready for dispatch.
- Handle inbound goods: Unload trucks, inspect incoming goods, and store items in the correct warehouse locations. You also help replenish stock when needed.
- Ensure accurate administration: Register completed orders, inbound goods, and stock movements in the automated system.
- Work accurately & efficiently: Check order accuracy, prepare pallets, and ensure shipments are handled correctly.
- Support daily warehouse operations: Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, assist with inventory counts, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with your team and follow instructions from the Team Lead to achieve daily goals safely and efficiently.
What you bring
- At least one year of hands‑on experience operating a reach truck.
- Physically fit and able to lift and move goods as part of daily warehouse tasks.
- Comfortable with basic technology, such as scanners, warehouse systems, and computers.
- Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work well in different teams or departments.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate and high‑quality work.
- A positive attitude and a genuine team player mindset.
- Willingness to learn new skills and grow within the role.
- Ability to switch tasks quickly, stay organized, and solve problems in a busy warehouse environment.
- Fluency in English.
