- Conduct process and product checks at designated intervals while accurately labeling samples and utilizing detection equipment to identify any potential contamination.
- Record environmental and product temperatures, alongside performing weight and quality control measurements and calibrating testing equipment.
- Execute general due diligence tasks, guiding the production team through any non-conformance issues and ensuring all corrective and preventative actions are fully documented.
- Manage product and line control according to the determined plan, including packaging control and conducting environmental and effluent analytics.
- Implement required IFS controls, maintain impeccable hygiene standards across all areas, and perform microbiological sampling and preparation in the on-site laboratory.
- Participate actively in the HACCP concept implementation, safely handling inline measurement equipment and initiating necessary measures during system faults.
- Undertake analytical activities including root cause analysis for deviating products and microbiological tests, reporting all results directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
- Prior experience in a Lab / Quality FMCG role, alongside Level 2 Food Safety & HACCP, is highly preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills are essential, paired with the proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Outstanding organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and a high degree of responsibility will ensure your success in this role.
- Flexibility and a strict willingness to work shift patterns are mandatory to support our continuous manufacturing environment.
- Basic working knowledge of Google Workspace is required to effectively manage daily tasks and reporting.
- Demonstrating a high level of service orientation, assertiveness, reliability, and initiative is crucial for working effectively with other departments.
- Additional knowledge of SAP QM or basic German language skills will be considered a strong advantage for this position.
