Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach and develop the Site Services Technician team, ensuring high performance and safe working practices.
  • Ensure the continuous, safe and efficient operation of all site utilities and services.
  • Take full responsibility for the management and performance of all site service contracts, including contractor coordination and compliance.
  • Act as the subject matter expert for steam and boiler operations, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability, efficiency and cost control.
  • Ensure full compliance with health, safety, environmental and IFS standards.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Maintenance Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled).
  • BOAS (Boiler Operation Accreditation Scheme) certification essential.
  • Proven experience working with shell boilers in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience supervising or leading a small technical team desirable.
  • Strong contractor management and service contract experience.
  • Excellent problem-solving, planning and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced, fully automated manufacturing environment.
  • Experience within FMCG or beverage manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of utilities including steam, compressed air, refrigeration, water treatment and energy systems.
