WHAT YOU DO
- Assume full end-to-end responsibility for the site's entire supply chain from raw material receipt through to the final dispatch of finished products.
- Lead and motivate a team across a three-shift structure to drive continuous operational excellence within a high-speed automated warehouse environment.
- Maintain accuracy in the booking in process for incoming materials while ensuring strict alignment between physical stock levels and the Warehouse Management System.
- Coordinate efficiently with suppliers and the planning department to schedule deliveries and manage bay capacity.
- Directly manage the Automated High Bay operation with a focus on maximising system uptime, efficient pallet flow, and upholding strict health and safety protocols.
- Oversee the goods out function and take complete charge of yard management to guarantee that all finished products are dispatched on time and in full.
- Guarantee full compliance with environmental regulations by managing all on-site waste processes and driving lean initiatives to reduce packaging.
WHO YOU ARE
- Possess a minimum of three to five years of demonstrable experience in logistics management within a high-volume distribution center or manufacturing setting.
- Bring expert technical knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems, specifically SAP, and Warehouse Control Systems to optimize flow and storage density.
- Offer direct experience managing Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems, which is essential for our high-bay warehouse environment.
- Demonstrate exceptional people management capabilities with a proven track record of leading diverse teams across rotating shifts.
- Hold a minimum of an ILM Level 2 Qualification in Leadership and Team Skills.
- Understand health and safety legislation thoroughly, backed by a required IOSH Managing Safely accreditation.
- Exhibit strong crisis management skills to remain calm under pressure and instantly execute manual contingency plans.
