The mission of our Project Coordinator Academy is to identify early talent and develop you to become Fortrea’s leaders of the future. The PC Academy prepares entry-level Project Coordinators to take on critical client-facing tasks as co-pilots to PMs, enabling them to build client trust and support successful project delivery. Through training, mentorship, tool mastery, and structured accountability, PCs gain the expertise and professionalism needed to interact effectively with clients and take ownership of client deliverables. This approach develops a pipeline of skilled, client-focused PCs who are well-prepared to transition into client-facing leadership roles, ultimately strengthening client relationships and enhancing clinical study outcomes.

And why is this unique? The co-pilot role empowers PCs to become essential client-facing support, enhancing project outcomes and building a strong pipeline of future PMs and other leaders in the organization. More than an educational program, it is a learning community in a 'Talent Incubator' setting, a global group of PCs within a career path into leadership positions.

In role mentorship and Client-Focused Training as a co-pilot for client interactions:

  • Develop Client-Focused Communication Skills
  • Master project-related and Client-Support Tools and Processes
  • Develop Accountability and Ownership in Client Deliverables

Opportunity for progression and recognition in the PC Academy. Opportunities to enhance skill set in other functional areas.

  • You have client-facing experience – this would be advantageous but not a must as training will be provided.
  • This is a truly global team, so excellent ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English is a must.

On your day-to-day, you will:

  • Learn to use the main industry tools and Project Management Systems i.e. CTMS, Veeva and Project management dashboards to support overall project health and client-facing deliverables.
  • Become a subject matter expert to support the study team.

  • Co-lead study financial updates with the Project Lead to support project financial health including payments where appropriate – attend and support financial review meetings.
