We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Specialist within the European Business Development team to support and consolidate the rapid growth of our Speciality Brands portfolio. This role will be responsible for collaborating with regional teams and hubs to optimize Speciality Brands portfolio management while ensuring consistency and continuous improvement of portfolio processes. In addition, this role will be responsible for identifying and evaluating new opportunities, developing robust business cases and supporting data-driven decision-making aligned with regional and global strategic priorities.

The Person

  • Essential:
    • Degree required in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Bio-Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, or Life Sciences
    • Significant experience in conducting comprehensive strategic and commercial evaluations within EU and/or Global Pharmaceutical Markets
    • Proven track record of accomplishments in Portfolio or Launch Management at an operational & strategic level
    • Highly proficient in forecasting and scenario planning, with advanced capability in developing early-stage models that underpin asset valuation and governance decisions
    • Demonstrable resilience and adaptability when operating within multi-site, highly regulated, and fast-paced environments
    • Skilled in engaging effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels, critically evaluating scientific data, and distilling complex information into clear, actionable insights for non-specialist audiences
  • Desirable:
    • Advanced Degree (MBA, MS, PhD, MPH) in Medicine, Pharmacy, Biochemistry, Bio-Pharmacy, Biology, Chemistry, or Life Sciences
    • A strong understanding of clinical trial design and its implications at strategic and operational level
    • Extensive experience with industry-standard data sources and tools including IQVIA, MIDAS, Datamonitor, pricing databases and scientific databases/formularies
    • Excellent IT skills and proficiency in the use of Excel & Power BI
