Ellis Practice is looking for an enthusiastic and committed Salaried GP to join our friendly and supportive team for 4 sessions per week. Tuesday and Friday 9.00 to 13.00 and 14.30 to 18.30.

We are a well-established CQC-rated Good practice based at the Welford Centre in Wembley, serving a diverse population in Brent. We are also an established teaching and training practice, with GP F2 trainees and trainee pharmacists regularly working alongside our clinical team. We have a strong focus on learning, professional development and supporting clinicians to develop their own areas of interest. This is a fixed term contract which potentially ends on 31st March 2027 pending continued funding for the role.

Main duties of the job

About us

We are looking for a GP who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to contribute to the continued development of the practice. We particularly want to create an environment where our GPs can focus on being clinicians, with appropriate support from the wider practice team. We welcome applications from newly qualified GPs as well as experienced GPs, and we are happy to support the development of clinical special interests.

Job responsibilities

The successful candidate will undertake a mixture of routine and acute general practice work while being supported by an experienced clinical and administrative team. Triage / Telephone consultation / F2F consultations / Medicine Management (prescriptions) / Lab reports all for a part of the regular work week.

Qualifications

  • General Medical Council (GMC) registered
