Are you an experienced Nurse (RNLD) looking for a role where your clinical skills and compassion genuinely shape the care young people receive? At Bere Clinic, you’ll join a team built on kindness, teamwork and a shared commitment to helping 12–18-year-olds recover from eating disorders in a structured CAMHS environment. In this role, you’ll play a central part in supporting young people through some of the most challenging moments of their lives — using your therapeutic skills, trauma-informed practice and clinical judgement to help them stabilise, build confidence and engage in their recovery.

You’ll work closely with young people who may be experiencing anxiety, low mood, complex emotional needs or difficulties with self-esteem, providing the safe, consistent support they need to move forward. You’ll also contribute to a strong multidisciplinary team, influencing positive change, shaping care plans, and helping create a therapeutic environment where every young person feels understood, encouraged and empowered.

Enjoy a flexible working pattern that puts you first, with options for 9–5 hours, the ability to condense your week into fewer days, and a supportive on-call rota shared fairly across the team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • As a qualified Nurse, you’ll ensure young people in our 12-bed CAMHS eating disorder service receive safe, compassionate and structured care.
  • You’ll use your clinical judgement, communication skills and resilience to support young people through their recovery journey.
  • Your day-to-day will include:
    • Delivering therapeutic, trauma-informed care that supports emotional and physical wellbeing
    • Assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care with accuracy and compassion
    • Influencing positive change by role-modelling safe practice and encouraging young people’s engagement
    • Supporting and mentoring colleagues to build a strong, collaborative team culture
    • Maintaining clear, timely clinical records and communicating effectively across the MDT

You’ll work in a busy, structured environment with plenty of variety — the kind of place where your skills stay sharp and your practice stays meaningful.

Skills and experience you’ll bring:

  • NMC registration (RNLD)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust with young people
  • Resilience, flexibility and a calm, compassionate approach
  • Ability to influence positive change and support service users’ engagement
  • Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
  • Paediatric experience (desirable) — ideal for supporting young people with complex emotional, physical and developmental needs

Where you will be working:
