Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a new challenge supporting patients in the community? If so, this could be the opportunity for you. We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to join the Swadlincote Community Nursing Team on a 12-month secondment. Flexible hours and working patterns may be considered for the right candidate. Main duties of the job
- Our service delivers evidence-based care that supports patients to remain in their own homes.
- This role offers the opportunity to work closely with general practice, therapy services and home visiting colleagues.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised patient care, promoting self-care wherever possible while maintaining privacy, dignity and clinical effectiveness.
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff in delivering high-quality care, while actively assisting the District Nurse/Senior Community Nurses in managing the healthcare environment.
- Due to the nature of the role, the post holder must be able to travel across a wide geographical area, often with equipment, and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes.
