Job summary We’re looking to recruit a Salaried GP to join the team at Framlingham Medical Practice.

You would be joining a supportive, experienced team that works well together and is committed to delivering excellent, consistent care to our patients.

We place a strong emphasis on working collaboratively, supporting each other day to day, and maintaining a sensible, sustainable approach to workload.

Framlingham Medical Practice joined Suffolk Primary Care in April 2026.

This provides access to a wider range of roles, shared expertise and organisational support, while allowing us to retain our identity as a local practice.

We are looking for up to full time (48 sessions per week), although there is flexibility for the right person.

We care for 9,500 patients across our main site in Framlingham, with a branch surgery at Earl Soham.

A stable clinical and administrative team, with a good mix of experience across GPs, nursing, dispensing and wider roles A strong team ethos, with people supporting each other day to day A training practice, supporting GP trainees and medical students from the University of Cambridge and University of East Anglia Use of Systm One and Anima to support patient access and workflow Access to a broader multi‑professional team through Suffolk Primary Care Main duties of the job The role includes a mix of routine and acute work, supported by established systems and a team‑based approach to managing demand.

We aim to keep workloads manageable, with clear expectations and appropriate support in place.

There is a shared understanding within the team of the need to work safely and sustainably.
