Job summary

Full time 37.5 hours per week. Internal rotation with the option of long days. Base salary £34,441 - £37,033 per annum full time plus allowance for unsocial hours.

Due to exciting new developments we are looking for a fun loving and skilled Registered Children's Nurse with 2 years post registration experience including completed preceptorship. Job responsibilities

  • To work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing a high quality service to children, young people and young adults with life shortening and life threatening conditions with complex health needs, and support their families and carers in the delivery of that care.
  • To work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing high quality palliative and end of life care.
  • To assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised holistic care packages without direct supervision over a 24 hours period for the children, young people and young adults, aged 0 to 25 years, who access the service at St Oswald's.
  • To contribute to interagency and inter-professional collaboration and teamwork to ensure that delivery of care is timely, well co-ordinated, effective and appropriate to need.
