This role requires to be on-site in our office in Feltham for 3 days per week.

Your role

As a Senior Clinical Data Manager, you will be accountable for the delivery, quality, integrity, and submission-readiness of clinical trial data for assigned global Phase I–IV studies. In this role, you will implement risk-based data collection, cleaning, review, reconciliation, and quality activities across electronic data capture (EDC) and external data sources, while representing Clinical Data Management on the Core Trial Team for assigned studies. You will lead the project management of all study-level data management deliverables, including timeline planning, resource coordination, risk identification, issue resolution, and stakeholder communication across internal and external partners. You will oversee day-to-day CRO/vendor activities, support compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards such as CDISC, and help ensure that clinical data packages are complete, accurate, and submission ready. Beyond study execution, you will contribute to the evolution of data management standards, SOPs, best practices, and process improvements, including the effective use of automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled solutions where appropriate, while sharing knowledge and supporting the development of colleagues within Clinical Data Management.

Who you are

  • You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a scientific or technical discipline, preferably in life sciences, data management, or a related field.
  • You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in clinical data management within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare industry, with a demonstrated track record of delivering end-to-end data management activities for global clinical trials.
  • You bring strong project management, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and proactively on studies and projects of varying complexity.
  • You have experience coordinating global, cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, including managing day-to-day CRO/vendor activities and resolving operational issues.
  • You are proficient in clinical data management systems and tools, with sound knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and good practices in clinical data management.
  • You have experience with clinical trial data standards, including CDISC, and understand the requirements for complete, accurate, and submission-ready clinical data packages.
  • You are committed to continuous personal and professional development and bring relevant external insights to support innovation, process improvement, and the effective implementation of data management standards and processes.
  • Experience with Risk Based Data Monitoring and Management is preferred. Experience using or supporting the implementation of automation, advanced analytics, and/or AI-enabled solutions in clinical data management is an advantage.
