Priory Hospital Bristol is offering a part-time position (15 hours per week) with a salary ranging from £48,250 to £58,250 FTE, depending on experience. HCPC registration is required.
This role involves providing psychological therapy to patients receiving treatment in our Hillside ward R&R, which is less than three miles from the centre of Bristol and offers free on-site parking. The Rehab and Recovery (R&R) service line on Hillside Ward consists of a 14-bedded ward for males and females, providing rapid assessment and triage for patients with acute mental health crises, including psychosis, mood disorders, dementia, or organic brain disease, particularly for individuals with complex physical health needs or requiring respite admissions.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond promptly to referrals
- Undertake specialist psychological assessments and formulate therapy plans
- Deliver individual and group therapy using evidence-based interventions
- Manage an allocated caseload within agreed timescales
- Maintain clear communication with clients, MDT members, and clinical staff
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records, reports, and electronic documentation
Clinical & Professional Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist psychological interventions and standard care plans
- Offer specialist advice, consultation, and guidance to other professionals
- Exercise autonomous responsibility for assessment, treatment, and discharge
- Administer psychometric tests and other evidence-based assessments
- Undertake risk assessment and risk management
- Provide clinical supervision to an Assistant Psychologist
Essential:
- Hold professional registration with HCPC and Clinical Psychologist registration.
