Job summary
We are currently looking for SCPH Qualified Health Visitors to join our team on either a full or part time basis!
If you are a dynamic, enthusiastic and experienced Health Visitor, you could be part of our forward-thinking, vibrant team.
You will work within Reading to deliver core and targeted services to children aged 0-5 and their families. We maintain a team-focused approach and use technology to support our service.
You will be supported by a Health Visiting manager and colleagues, as we believe in developing staff. We offer a robust induction and preceptorship programme, appraisal process, ongoing safeguarding, clinical and management supervision, and training to support career development.
We ask that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, and a passion for working with children and families.

Main duties of the job

Whether you are an experienced health visitor or have only just receivedyour qualification, we will ensure you receive devoted,effective support from both your health visiting line manager and colleagues within your team.
You will work within the Reading area to deliver core and targeted services to children aged 0-5 and their families. You will requireexcellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, along withgreat communication skills and a passion for working with children and families.
A commitment to team working, flexibility and working with partners is essential, as you will collaborate with Children'sCentre'sin the implementation of the Healthy ChildProgrammeunderpinned by the Solihull Approach model of working.
Some of the general responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement outcome focused care plans and evaluate care given, in partnership with clients.
- Provide support to families using the Solihull approach model in behaviour management, parentingskillsand delivering programmes of care to vulnerable families.
- Develop andfacilitateHealth Visitingdrop inclinics, health promotionactivitiesand groups.
