Join our Hull based R&D team and play a pivotal role in the development of innovative medical technologies that make a real difference to patients around the world.

What will you be doing? You will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary R&D environment where no two days are the same. Working alongside scientists, technologists and engineers, you will plan and deliver laboratory testing that supports the design and development of new products. From setting up investigations and validating methods, to analysing results and sharing clear recommendations, you will help keep projects on track for time, cost and quality. You will also engage with colleagues across quality, manufacturing and external partners, ensuring robust, compliant and well documented development activities that support successful product delivery.

What will you need to be successful?

  • A degree in engineering or a scientific discipline, or equivalent relevant experience, with a solid foundation in laboratory or technical testing.
  • Experience planning, executing and documenting experimental work, with the ability to interpret data and draw clear, logical conclusions.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling you to clearly report progress and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Confidence using standard Microsoft tools, with additional experience of laboratory software; LabView, CAD or statistical tools being an advantage.
