Our imaging department provides a comprehensive range of services including X-Ray, Fluoroscopy, Ultrasound, Mammography, CT, MRI, and Mobile Imaging, ensuring patients receive timely, high-quality care in a safe and supportive environment.
As part of our multidisciplinary team, you'll play a vital role in delivering accurate diagnostic imaging while maintaining the highest standards of patient care, safety, and professionalism.
How you’ll help us make health happen
This is a 9 month fixed term role. As a Radiographer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality imaging services to both inpatient and outpatient populations. Working closely with Radiologists, Imaging Assistants, Consultants, and the wider clinical team, you'll perform a variety of diagnostic examinations, contribute to service development, and help ensure an excellent experience for every patient. You'll be competent in general radiography (MRI desirable) as well as fluoroscopy, mobile imaging, and theatre imaging.
Key responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations in accordance with departmental protocols and professional standards.
- Deliver exceptional patient care while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the imaging journey.
- Work across a range of imaging modalities, including General Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Mobile Imaging, and Theatre Radiography.
- Provide flexible support to meet service needs.
- Maintain compliance with HCPC standards, departmental policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to quality assurance activities and continuous service improvement initiatives.
- Promote a culture of safety through incident reporting, risk management, and adherence to infection prevention standards.
- Build strong working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders across the hospital to support an efficient imaging service.
- Maintain accurate records and actively contribute to your continuing professional development.

- BSc in Radiography or equivalent (essential)

- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
