Job Description
We’re looking for a Specialist Physiotherapist to join our team at the Marie Curie Hospice, Belfast where you will assess and treat patients in our inpatient unit, outpatient department and the community. The Physiotherapist is a Band 6 member of the multidisciplinary team, providing holistic, person-centred care. The role includes assessing, planning, and delivering specialist physiotherapy. Key responsibilities are acting as a resource for best practice, mentoring colleagues, and contributing to quality improvement and team learning, all while maintaining a compassionate and professional approach.
Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 6 (aligned with AFC) £39,959- £48,117 per annum + enhancements (pro rata)
Contract: Permanent, part time 14 hours per week. Shift Pattern - 08:30 - 16:30. Based: Belfast Hospice

What we’re looking for:
- Registered Occupational Therapist with a degree and relevant post-registration qualification.
- Proven experience in therapeutic, rehabilitative, and supportive treatments.
- Strong understanding of palliative care principles and holistic needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and reflective practice.
- A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for travel across locations.
