As a Health Visitor, you will join our Child and Family Wellbeing Service in Warwickshire, playing a vital role in improving outcomes for babies, children and families across your local community. This is a rewarding opportunity to lead and deliver the Healthy Child Programme for children aged 0 to 5 years, supporting families from pregnancy through the early years of a child's life. You will work with a defined caseload, building trusted relationships with families and providing tailored support, early intervention and public health advice to help children have the best possible start in life. Main Responsibilities: In this role, you will take professional responsibility for a defined caseload of children and families, delivering the Healthy Child Programme through a combination of home visits, clinics, group sessions and community-based interventions. You will assess the needs of families and provide support through universal, targeted and specialist pathways, ensuring children receive the right support at the right time. You will also play a key role in safeguarding children, supporting vulnerable families and working proactively with partner agencies to improve outcomes. Alongside your clinical responsibilities, you will provide leadership and support to the wider skill mix team, helping to ensure high standards of care, effective team working and the delivery of key performance targets. You will contribute to service development, quality improvement and public health initiatives while acting as an advocate for children and families within your community.

Person Specification:
Qualifications Essential:- Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (SCPHN) qualification in Health Visiting
- Current NMC registration
- Delivering the Healthy Child Programme
- Managing a caseload within a community setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection processes
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience working collaboratively with partner agencies and multidisciplinary teams
- Ability to lead, support and motivate colleagues
- Understanding of public health principles and health promotion
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and electronic patient record systems
- Current UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Nurse Prescriber qualification
- Practice Assessor or mentorship qualification
- Experience leading quality improvement or public health initiatives
- Experience delivering parenting programmes, workshops or group interventions
- Knowledge of local and national policy affecting children's services
