We're looking for experienced Non-Scalpel Vasectomy Doctors to join our bank team, supporting a well-established Integrated Sexual Health Service across Coventry and Warwickshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care in a flexible role that fits around your existing commitments while working within a supportive, multidisciplinary clinical environment.
The Role
- Performing non-scalpel vasectomy procedures under local anaesthetic
- Managing pre-operative assessments and on-the-day patient suitability checks
- Obtaining informed consent and ensuring patients fully understand the procedure and risks
- Providing intra-operative and post-operative patient support and advice
- Reviewing post-vasectomy semen analysis results
- Supporting the organisation and delivery of surgical lists
- Working collaboratively with the wider sexual health team to ensure outstanding care
You’ll primarily be based in Nuneaton, with opportunities to work across other hubs including Coventry, Rugby, and Leamington Spa.
Essential qualifications include:
- Experience in Non-Scalpel Vasectomy procedures
- The CoSRH Special Skills Module in Vasectomy
- GMC registration with revalidation
- Indemnity cover
Desirable qualifications include:
- A DFSRH qualification
- Familiarity with clinical systems like SystmOne
