Senior Theatre Practitioner – Orthopaedic Scrub

Up to £45,000 per annum depending on skills and experience

Responsibilities
- Prioritise patient safety, taking appropriate actions and encouraging colleagues to call out and report safety concerns.
- Promote a safe working environment for patients, visitors and staff (in full compliance with all policies and procedures).
- Support governance activity, ensuring full compliance with Nuffield Health’s Quality governance framework and national standards, e.g. CQC/HIW/HIS Regulation, fundamentals of care, professional standards and evidence-based guidelines.
- Provide and lead care management and delivery, treating patients, families, friends and representatives with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion and supporting them to cope emotionally with their care, treatment or condition.
- Collaborate with other clinicians within the Hospital, building strong working relationships that enhance patient care and service delivery.
- Take charge of a theatre, coordinating and delivering work activities and leading junior practitioners.
Qualifications and Important Information
- Proven experience required within Orthopaedic Theatre as a Senior.
- Support can be provided to progress development for SFA.
