An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Radiology department at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (STHFT) for an experienced Band 6 MRI Radiographer to work within the fantastic MRI team where a variety of work is undertaken. This post is part of the collaborative initiative of the Community Diagnostic Hub program. Although the successful candidate will be employed by STHFT, there will be an expectation of collaborative working across the Tees Valley in the future should the need be required. However, this role is primarily for STHFT MRI services, and the successful candidate will join the MRI rota for STHFT and work across all MRI service sites.

Person Specification

  • Knowledge & Skills
    • Essential: Evidence of good general experience in MRI scanning and knowledge of a wide variety of MRI scanning techniques and protocols.
    • Evidence of active CPD.
    • Comply with MHRA MRI safety guidelines.
    • Desirable: Trained in IV cannulation. Experience of developing working relationships. Clinical Audit.
  • Qualifications & Training
    • Essential: BSc or MSc Radiography or DCR(R) HCPC registered.
  • Experience
    • Essential: Manual Handling Skills - of patients and complex radiographic equipment. Significant post-graduation Radiography experience. Computer literacy.
    • Desirable: MRI scanning experience.
