Job summary There is an exciting opportunity for a Consultant in Rheumatology and Acute Medicine or Rheumatology to join the team working across Wythenshawe, Trafford, Withington and Altrincham hospitals. - Attendance at appropriate professional courses
Experience Essential
- Wide experience in all aspects of rheumatology and medicine (where relevant). To be willing to develop skills as appropriate to the service needs

- Special interests; Previous experience in managing complex multisystem inflammatory / autoimmune rheumatological conditions, and experience of MDT input
Management/Audit Essential
- An understanding of the NHS management responsibilities of consultants. Experience of clinical audit

- Attendance at an appropriate management course.
Teaching Essential
- nterest in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate medical staff as well as other healthcare workers
