We are seeking a motivated Clinical/Counselling Psychologist or Psychotherapist to join our team at Band 7. Our team consists of Clinical Psychologists, Psychotherapists, and Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioners (MHWP) providing evidence-based psychological care. We work in close partnership with the wider multidisciplinary team, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our clients, their families, carers, and wider support networks.

Main duties of the job include providing assessment and treatment (individual and group), participating in multidisciplinary staff development and supervision, enhancing the provision of psychological therapies for adult mental health, especially for clients and their families impacted by complex emotional difficulties and severe and enduring mental illness including psychosis. As a key member of the team, you will provide psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention for adults experiencing a range of complex mental health difficulties. You will have opportunities to contribute to service development, consultation, teaching, and the continued growth of psychologically informed practice across the service.

Job responsibilities: The post holders will be based at Albion Place Psychological Therapies service which includes psychological clinicians of several disciplines. The West Psychological Therapies service works closely and in collaboration with the Community Mental Health team as integrated services to provide a comprehensive service to adults with complex and longstanding mental health conditions and emotional difficulties.
Psychologist Requirements:
- HCPC-registered Doctorate in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or BPS accredited).
Psychotherapist Requirements:
- Masters-level (or equivalent) training in a recognised psychotherapeutic modality.
- Full accreditation/registration with UKCP, BABCP, BPC, or BACP (Level C).
- Core profession registration and specialist clinical training.
