The Education Academy within Barts Health is expanding to enhance the educational experience for undergraduate and postgraduate trainees. The role is based at the Royal London Hospital and involves teaching across multiple sites, supporting the Older People Service (geriatrics) as a registrar in Trauma and Perioperative Older People Service (TPOPS), and participation in a weekly high‑risk anaesthetic multidisciplinary meeting.
Main Duties
- Clinical work in the Older People Service (geriatrics) department as a registrar in Trauma and Perioperative Older People Service (TPOPS).
- Outpatient pre‑operative clinical assessments for patients with complexity undergoing elective surgery.
- Teaching and supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate trainees in an inter‑professional setting.
- Participation in simulation and essential clinical skills teaching and support.

Experience
