We are looking for a proactive and well‑organised Construction Project Coordinator to support the delivery of five construction and refurbishment projects in South‑East London, with a combined budget of around £2.5 million. Reporting to the Development Director, you would play a pivotal role, ensuring smooth communication between the design team, contractors, accounts and wider stakeholders. This would be ideal for someone who enjoys keeping multiple projects moving, resolving issues early, and helping ensure each scheme is delivered on time, on budget and to the required quality standards.

  • Hours: 9-5.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Based at our Support Office in Bromley, Kent.

Main Responsibilities of the Construction Project Lead

  • Multi‑Project Coordination: Support the team in overseeing the day‑to‑day running of five concurrent projects, ensuring tasks, deadlines and deliverables are clearly tracked and progressed.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as a communication hub between design consultants, contractors, accounts, suppliers and client representatives, ensuring information is shared accurately and promptly across all projects.
  • Programme & Budget Monitoring: Assist in tracking project timelines and expenditure, highlighting risks or variances early and helping maintain cost control across the full £2.5m programme.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation including meeting minutes, progress updates, risk logs, procurement trackers and change control records.
  • Procurement Support: Coordinate procurement activities such as issuing enquiries, gathering quotations, preparing comparison summaries and liaising with accounts to ensure timely purchase orders and payments.
  • Design & Site Interface: Help manage the flow of design information to site teams, ensuring queries are resolved quickly and that contractors receive the correct drawings and specifications.
  • Quality & Compliance: Support quality assurance processes, ensuring works meet required standards, statutory obligations and internal procedures.
  • Problem‑Solving & Issue Resolution: Identify emerging issues across the project portfolio, help unblock delays, and maintain momentum by smoothing communication and ensuring clarity of responsibilities.

About you

  • Experience in construction, architecture, engineering or a related project environment desirable.
  • Native or bilingual proficiency in Turkish – speaking, written and reading is essential as we liaise with a large number of Turkish suppliers.
  • Interest in Real Estate, Housing or Refurbishment Projects.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, confident working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Competence with project management tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and remain calm under pressure.
  • A collaborative, team‑focused approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
