Key Responsibilities
- Lead the cardiac science component of the Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) implant service.
- Support the development and improvement of the CRM service.
- Provide line management and supervision of staff.
- Lead and support training and education within the department.
- Perform a full range of cardiac diagnostic investigations.

- Qualified and experienced Cardiac Physiologist.
- Proven expertise in Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM), including implant services.

Main duties of the job
- The post holder will work closely with the lead physiologist for Cath Lab to ensure the device implant service is efficiently integrated within the Cath labs.
- The post holder will become competent in physiologist led reveal LINQ implantation.
- To manage the operation and staff of a designated area within the Cardiac Diagnostic Department.
- To assist the departmental Manager in designated management aspects of the department plus deputise in their absence.
- The post holder will be responsible for ensuring continued service delivery of this specialism with adherence to national, international, and local best practice.
- Responsible for identifying, advising, and introducing service developments and implementing changes to practice in the field based on best practice guidelines.
