We are excited to share an opportunity to join our team at Leeds Children's Hospitals as a Band 6 Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. We are seeking a dynamic individual with the relevant skills to support infants and children under a range of specialities within Leeds Children's Hospital. Main duties of the job:
- To perform communication and swallowing assessment on patients with diverse presentations and complex neurological and psychological conditions, to provide a diagnosis and develop and deliver an individualised treatment programme.

What you will bring to the role:
In this role, you'll use your specialist skills to assess communication and swallowing needs in patients with a wide range of clinical presentations and needs. You'll provide clear, evidence-based diagnoses and deliver tailored treatment plans that support each patient to maximise their communication and swallowing potential at every stage of their care pathway.
You’ll work independently and as a valued member of a dynamic MDT across a variety of clinical settings, bringing your clinical expertise, problem-solving skills and compassionate approach to each interaction.
