You will work in our modern 65,000 ft², 100 bed clinic, only 7 minutes from the train station.
It is here where life‑saving medicines begin their journey.
As a nurse, you will be part of those early steps, supporting research right when new treatments are first explored.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Deliver safe, high quality care to clinical trial participants.
- Work autonomously to carry out procedures such as cannulation, bloods, ECGs, observations and medicines administration.
- Monitor participant wellbeing and document any adverse events.
- Obtain informed consent and guide participants through study procedures.
- Record accurate data in electronic systems to support study quality.
- Learn how research studies are planned and conducted.
- Develop your skills until you are responsible for your own studies.
WHAT YOU BRING
- NMC‑registered nurse.
- Experience in a fast‑paced ward environment (such as A&E, surgery, oncology or similar), consistent with a Band‑5 nurse who has progressed beyond the newly qualified stage.
- Confidence working independently with core clinical procedures, developed through hands‑on ward experience rather than training‑only exposure.
- A genuine interest in clinical research and how new medicines are developed.
- Comfort using electronic health records and clinical systems.
- Please note that this position requires existing right‑to‑work status in the UK, as visa sponsorship cannot be provided.
